This will not cause any harm to your vehicle, it will allow for your radio to reset and have a good install. Here are some screen shots of a NAV screen with integrated XM Radio. If you do not have a NAV system it will still display XM text on your OEM radio display Do you have any other accessories for my IPOD/mp3 player? What can I use the extra AUX input for? The AUX input can be used for any auxillary device that you want to listen to in your car. Simply hookup the 3.5mm connector into your headphone output on your AUX Device (i.e. iPOD, iPHONE, mp3 player, treo, DVD Player, etc.....). The connector has a recessed 3.5mm so it will work with a iPHONE too. If you are using it with a iPHONE you will be able to take calls thru your audio system, just speak and your iPHONE mic will pick it up. If you are on AUX it will also ring thru your audio system, so you will then have to press the TALK button to take the call.
