Simply connect your audio source ,  power supply and antenna to the transmitter and you are set!  The frequency will lock up almost instantly and comes on almost as soon as the unit is powered up.  Some transmitters can take over 60 seconds to lock but with the fast lock enhance circuitry, you will not have to wait. WOW!  The audio level is adjusted by simply connecting your audio source and adjusting the audio level modulation control.   High audio input impedances enable the use of almost any type of audio source.  Other transmitters can often load down the audio source which usually results in the loss of high frequency response.  You will not have to worry about high frequency loss with this transmitter! I should mention that the output amplifier section is a true wideband design and never requires tuning, even if the frequency is changed from 87.5 to 108.5 MHz.  The frequency can easily be changed by using the supplied key wire and pressing the recessed UP and DN button on the front panel. Its highly accurate crystal reference and PLL circuitry ensures you will have a very stable signal at all times.  The frequency resolution of this transmitter is 100Kz which is standard for for North America and Europe. The rack mount case is made of 100 % aluminium and has a 70 db shielding spec. The size is the standard 19" width and the height is approximately 10 inches. The depth is 16 inches. This newly engineered SWR protection circuitry works by limiting the amount of allowable reverse power, (around 60 watts) that is acceptable for reliable safe operation. This level at full power is equivalant to an SWR of around 2:1. The SWR led light will come on once this level is reached and will automatically come off once the reverse power drops below this 60 watt level. This automatic reset circuit will eliminate the need to drive back to the transmitter site to reset the transmitter in case of a power surge that is normally problematic in other designs. You will also have the added protection against overheating if a fan breaks down. If this happens the TEMP led will come on if the heat sink temperature reaches 55 degrees Celcius. This transmitter comes in a 120 VAC or 220 VAC version. Please specify your requirements when ordering.  All you will need to get on the air is a FM transmitting antenna and good quality antenna cable! Of course you will need a sound source, such as a CD player, Computer, tape player, MP3 player or a Mixer.   Please allow 1-2 weeks for assembly.
