This amp perfectly matches the JRC JST-135, JST-145 and JST-245 transceivers.  Its super quiet and on SSB you might not ever hear your fan come on.  Even when the fans do come on the sound is much lower than any Icom PW-1 or Yaesu Quadra and quieter than most tube amplifiers.  This is not surprising when you understand this amplifier is made for commercial use including operations aboard marine vessels. Wide range input voltage from 85 volts ~ 264 Volts AC with no jumpers or switches.  How cool is that? With this amplifier your JRC radio becomes a fully automatic 1KW transceiver.  Instant on so you never have to wait for tubes to warm up while you wait to get in line on working that rare DX.  Best of all, it makes no heat when you are not transmitting, so you can leave it on all the time you are using your radio without heating up the shack.  When using with your JRC Radio, the amplifier tracks band changes, and the tuner presets itself.  It has 1820 memory channels to optimize the power output for any given portion of band.  Once the antenna is tuned, you never need to retune because it remembers what the presets are.  It is amazingly bullet proof.  The manual calls out continuous duty on CW and SSB use and you can put a full KW out on RTTY or  SSTV for 30 minutes.  It really is a husky amplifier.  The picture shows my wattmeter with 1100 watts output and it will easily do this for a minute or more before the fans come on.  This is really impressive if you know your SS amplifiers. Besides being a KW amplifier it is also a KW automatic tuner as well.  It is entirely permissible to place a multi-band antenna on this amp and have it tune the antenna for you.  The tuner also works in bypass mode, so your radio is looking into a 50 ohm load.  Very nice indeed!. There is one coax input and 4 coax antenna output ports.I had a JRC-245 and wish I hadn't sold it.  This combination with the JRL-2000F is un-beatable.  As you can see in the top picture, I am using it with an Icom 756 Pro 2 and it works fantastic.  Keying and ALC control is the same as any standard amplifier.  The Icom 756 Pro 2 keys it no problem and there is no special interface needed.  Also the keying voltage and current is low, so you never have to worry about burning up your high dollar radios amp keying circuit.  When using with non-JRC radios is you must manually push the tune button to change bands.  That is about the only disadvantage that I can see when using non-JRC radios.  The amp can be set a good distance from your operating position and controlled with the included remote.  It does work flawlessly with the Pro 2 radio as well as the Yaesu FT-2000 that I have.  It is full QSK with every radio I have tried and it works beautifully.  Currently, I am running my station QSK via Pactor (a digital mode with lots of switches from Tx to Rx over and over).  The amp switches more than fast enough to keep from missing packets and this is a good test of its QSK abilities.  If you are into CW, you will love how fast it is.
