AVID Volvere turntable Here is an as new, demo only Avid Volvere turntable. If you have been looking at a stack of records for years but have long since sold your old turntable, this is a great opportunity to get those classics spinning again and in the highest of style! If you have been considering a worthy turntable upgrade, this is it! The sound quality of this table is far greater than any older turntables. The turntable ships in its original packaging with manual and full warranty. The unit will arrive in its factory package and of course in new condition. We are authorised dealers for these products. The table has seen very little demo use and so the hours are so low as to be negligable - merely a test of its reliability if anything. We will also include a new, sealed drive belt - so you'll have a spare. The Avid Volvere consists of very highly detailed and carefully machined parts. It is a suspended design and requires a little attention to set-up and adjust initially. Once set-up, it is very low maintenace. It has been machined almost entirely from aluminum. It has both a composite, multi-part bearing and platter to offer the highest performance posible. The bearing is saphire, brass and steel. The platter is aluminum, brass and stainless steel with a heavy rubber periphery ring and a composite cork mat. Avid makes what may very well be the best made and best sounding turntable in the world. They are all designed and manufactured in England. The Volvere brings to witness an amazing level of engineering and manufacturing, not seen before at this price. Avid is still alive and well and producing turntables as well as very sophisticated, custom machined parts and assemblies for other industries including automotive racing, so parts will not be a problem if you should ever require any. The unit is belt driven and has an integral speed controller and high torque motor. You will not find this turntable at this price anywhere else! The tonearm or cartridge if pictured is not included and may be purchased separately. I have 30 years of experience with turntable set-up and other things analog and will be glad to share a few tips about getting the most from this unit and vinyl in general. I have learned a few tricks to get the very best performance from this turntable, which I don't belive anyone else would be aware of. I will be glad to share that with the winner of the auction. In addition to this table, we are dealers for quite a few very nice cartridges and we can supply Dynavector, Grado, Ortofon, Rega and others. I would be happy to work with you to choose the best fit for your system and to include valuable information and tools to help you get the most from your new turntable. The SME tonearm is not included but we might have it at auction in another listing soon and you may purchase that as well as long as it is available. We cannot make the sale of one item contingent upon the other however. They are being sold individually to lower the cost.
