You are bidding on a little used, low hours and excellent condition Runco VX2i 3 Chip DLP & THX Certified projector with a Ranier 235 Autosope Lens PLUS a Crystalio VPS-2300 Video Scaler Included !!! Both components have only ever been used for approx 2 months for demonstration purposes in our Dublin showroom. Both devices in excellent working condition. For anyone who doesn't know of Runco, take comfort from the fact that Runco are the projection brand used in the majority of Hollywood Screening Studios. Today's high res projectors have specifications that look good on paper but in real life conditions outside the laboratory, they often fail to perform to expectations . Not this big Runco, with 2500Lumen output it has the power and quality to deliver huge HD images. This projector was the first in the world to be awarded the coveted THX Standard for video reproduction and is also ISF certified. Runco's Exclusive CineWide™ Technology* Runco’s award winning development of CineWide™ and CineWide with AutoScope™ technology has created a revolution in faithful movie reproduction, for the first time transforming home theater into home cinema. Black Bars are eliminated. How it works The video processor anamorphically “stretches” the 2.35:1 image vertically to completely fill the display’s imaging chips. This allows all pixels to be used. The anamorphic lens then “stretches” the image width to 2.35:1. Correct geometry is restored, while 100% of the pixels are now used to maintain full resolution and eliminate black bars.
