Description
Bet you've NEVER seen one of these, This is COOL This is a vintage UTC LS-120 transformer for someone who builds seriously good tube amplifiers, and wants the best solution. In vacuum tube rectification, the smoothest sounding and  best performing system is an all-tube full wave bridge using 866 Mercury Vapor rectifier tubes. It takes four  rectifier tubes, and three separate filament windings  to have such a rectification system.  This UTC LS-120 transformer, circa 1940's, are designed to do this job - support four rectifier tubes from a single filament transformer.   Very nice!! I collected this over thirty years ago, and have never seen another one anywheres - since the 1970s.  This is a "correct" vintage part. Condition is excellent.  It has two multi tapped 120 volt primary windings, which can be used on any grid ( 100 VAC to 240 VAC ). I have personally used this and know it works well, plus I have ohmiated all the windings, prior to listing this LS-120, and continuity is fine. Due to its age, this is offered as is.  See the photos of the specifications, and you will see that this is a seriously good, high quality RARE special transformer.   I have built two amps with full wave bridge tube rectifiers, and they sound superior. I have no more available, after this auction, so don't miss out. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------   Both domestic and International eBayers are welcome to bid. Bidders must have at least five or more eBay transactions with no recent negative feedback. For a winning USA bidder, I only accept Cashier's Checks or Money Orders. Full payment is due within five days of this auction's end date. For a winning International bidder, full payment is due within seven business days.  I accept :(a) Bank-to-Bank transfers,(b) International (Postal) Money Orders (made out in $ USD), and (c) money transfer services through (company's name is purposefully misspelled as "Uestern Wnion".)Note:EBay has recently put in an arbitrary policy where we are to offer a merchant credit card or Paypal payment for Consumer Electronics auctions, so it is feasible to use PayPal with me, but this is a VERY distant and LAST payment option choice, one that I would ask you NOT to choose. ** I do NOT usually accept Credit Cards or Paypal.** I do not falsify values for Customs... This is no-reserve auction and bidding starts at only $163.22 for this  useful vintage rare UTC LS-120 power transformer.
